Jerry Shuler is the proud owner of Shuler's Great Outdoors, Inc. In 1982, he started a deer processing business, which developed into the largest deer cooler in the state of Georgia. He always had an interest in guns, and in 1991 he started his own gun shop with eight guns in a small room behind the deer cooler. In 2004, he moved his sporting goods store to downtown Gainesville and left the deer cooler business behind. Shuler's Great Outdoors, Inc. is now one of the largest firearms retailers in the southeast. He has assembled one of the finest archery, firearms, fishing, and hunting sales teams in the southeast.
